On April 4, 2017, Dr. Alin Posteucă launched the book called Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment (MCPD) and Methods Design Concept (MDC): The Path to Competitiveness  during the 18th edition of the World Productivity Congress – Bahrain, Productivity Researchers section.

This book was written by Dr. Alin Posteucă together with Dr. Shigeyasu Sakamoto and appeared on March 23, 2017 at Productivity Press Publishing, New York (USA).

The book contains two new approaches to improving productivity and profitability of manufacturing systems that have the effect of continuously increasing competitiveness: Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment (MCPD) and Methods Design Concept (MDC). The combination of MCPD and MDC provides a unique approach to managers who are looking for new ways to increase profitability and productivity to enhance their companies’ competitiveness.

This edition of the World Productivity Congress was held in Bahrain during 01-04 April 2017 with the theme New Roads to Innovation and Higher Productivity. This event brought together over 600 business people, industrialists, managers, researchers and productivity experts from 72 countries and all industrial, commercial and public services.

World Productivity Congress is the world’s largest convention for productivity development. Since 1969, the congress has taken place in countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, China, Australia, India, Chile, South Africa, Malaysia, Norway and Sweden.This congress is a key platform for innovative initiatives and world class practices that shape future productivity growth.
