Intellectuals, CEO & Economic Crisis
Intellectual leadership and the economic crisis. It is obvious that the global economic crisis is a systemic one..
Starting from the economic and financial actions from the global level in the last 2 years, from the amplifying effects of the economic crisis caused by Covid-19 and from the wave of recent manifestations, the effects of the economic crisis are felt in all socio-economic dimensions in most countries and companies.
In response, various CEOs of large global companies are invited by the press to provide solutions to the current crisis. The common problem of these companies is the overcapacity of production on the background of the abrupt decrease of sales.
In this context, a question arises: is tackling this crisis the task of CEOs in multinational companies or is there a need for real, visible and consistent involvement of intellectuals, universities, research centers, etc. to deliver innovation and productivity at the systemic level?
So, what do you think about the solutions to the crisis: the actions of the CEO and/or the intellectual leadership?
