Determinarea capacitatii reale a unei companii este foarte importanta. Capacitatea este formata din munca cu valoare și din pierderi. Determinarea necesarului de munca se stabileste prin diferite metode de masurare a muncii. Pentru aceasta se utilizeaza o serie de metode pentru Time Study (cum ar fi REFA) si pentru Motion Study (MTM si MOST fiind cele mai cunoscute).
