Return On Investment (ROI) si productivitatea

Într-o accepțiune de bază, Return On Investment (ROI) este un indicator care investighează valoarea profiturilor realizate de o investiție. În mod normal, cu cât productivitatea este mai mare și implicit costurile mai mici, ROI este mai mare ca procent. Cu toate acestea, mulți manageri urmăresc obsesiv acest indicator pe timpul mandatului lor și de multe ori exagerează cu productivitatea pe termen scurt (mai ales cu productivitatea oamenilor și a echipamentelor).
