Five Volumes.
One Evolving Architecture.
Published by Taylor & Francis - Routledge - CRC Press.

Each book is a complete layer of the Strategic Kaizen paradigm — from the first mathematical formulation of Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment, through the financial and operational architectures of Speed-Based Target Profit, to Beyond Strategic Kaizen as the definitive unified statement. Read any one and you understand the discipline. Read all five and you understand the mind that built it.

Speed-Based Target Profit:
Planning and Developing Synchronous Profitable Operations
Dr. Alin Posteucă · Routledge · Taylor & Francis Group · 2021
Dr. Alin Posteucă

If Beyond Strategic Kaizen defines the ideal state, Speed-Based Target Profit defines how to reach it through planning. SBTP is the production planning and control system that makes takt profit operationally actionable — translating the financial clock into daily planning decisions, shift targets, and module-level governance.

The book establishes how to convert annual target profit into the speed-based rate (profit per minute) that governs every strategic improvement decision. SBTP connects the financial architecture of KAIZENshiro with the operational architecture of the production floor — closing the gap between what the shareholder requires and what the production system produces, in every minute of the fiscal year.

Systematic and Systemic Improvement of Manufacturing Costs · Routledge · 2019
Dr. Alin Posteucă

The volume that established the mathematical models. MCPD: Profitability Scenarios presents the complete CLW/CCLW quantification framework, the KAIZENshiro budget architecture, and the financial reconciliation models that govern Strategic Kaizen in both the sales increase and sales decrease scenario.

The book includes the two complete case studies that define the Proof of Impact portfolio: AA-Plant (Automotive, $7.5M KAIZENshiro) and AS-Company (Food Industry, $5.15M KAIZENshiro). Every formula verified. Every result validated. The book that makes the financial architecture of Strategic Kaizen irrefutable.

Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment (MCPD) Transformation:
Uncovering Hidden Reserves of Profitability
Dr. Alin Posteucă · Routledge · Taylor & Francis Group · 2017
Dr. Alin Posteucă

Every organisation carries hidden reserves of profitability. They are not visible in the income statement. They are not captured by standard costing. They exist in the gap between current performance and ideal takt profit — in the cost of losses and waste that has never been systematically quantified or systematically eliminated.

MCPD Transformation presents the strategic framework for discovering and unlocking those reserves through Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment — the governing system that converts loss structures into improvement targets, and improvement targets into competitive advantage. The profitability that was always there, waiting for the right architecture to claim it.

The Path to Competitiveness
Dr. Alin Posteucă & Dr. Shigeyasu Sakamoto · CRC Press · 2017
Dr. Alin Posteucă & Dr. Shigeyasu Sakamoto

The first book. The global launch. Presented in the plenary session of the 18th World Productivity Congress in Manama, Bahrain — this was the moment Strategic Kaizen entered the international scientific and executive arena. Co-authored with Dr. Shigeyasu Sakamoto, one of Japan’s most respected authorities in industrial engineering and productivity science.

The book integrates Manufacturing Cost Policy Deployment with Methods Design Concept — establishing the foundational path from CLW quantification to methods improvement to competitive cost architecture. MCPD governs the financial destination. MDC governs the method to reach it. Together, they define the path to competitiveness for any manufacturing organisation willing to govern profit architecturally rather than reactively.

The Science Behind the Five Volumes.
Dr. Alin Posteucă Author · All Five Volumes · Strategic Kaizen Paradigm Creator

Alin Posteucă is a consultant in productivity and profitability whose principal focus is the field of Takt Profit. When researching the interactions between operating target time and inventory structures at the manufacturing flow level, he identified detailed typologies of losses and waste for each cost structure and discovered the modelling necessary to simultaneously achieve the operational and financial target performance expected by manufacturing companies.

He showed how to convert the target profit into Takt Profit, facilitating planning and optimising production to continuously achieve the target profit, regardless of sales trend. PhD in Industrial Engineering (Polytechnic University of Bucharest, 2015). PhD in Managerial and Cost Accounting (Bucharest University of Economic Studies). PhD Research Fellow at Linköping University, Sweden.

Dr. Shigeyasu Sakamoto is one of Japan’s most respected authorities in industrial engineering and productivity science. His career spans five decades at the intersection of industrial engineering rigour and operational reality — from government-certified professional engineering to the highest international bodies of productivity science.

“SBTP is a new paradigm for profitable production planning which integrates productivity measurement and improvement directly within planning. I am convinced SBTP will have a major impact on the science of management.”

Five books. One evolving architecture.
Each volume is a proof —
not of what was written,
but of what was first proven in the production floor,
then formalised for every executive who governs profit architecturally.
