What is this training program ”Controlling and Cost Reduction”?

Knowing and continuously reducing unit costs is – and will remain – one of the core tasks of the management teams of any company to ensure the required level of profit. To do this, top managers and costing and budgeting professionals need not only to promote the implementation of cost calculation tools but they must look beyond these tools to create a cost improvement culture. They need to create an environment for effective and efficient cost problem solving at all levels of the organization and to shape behaviors that support this open problem-solving environment.

After the three days of training, the participants will better understand the stake of a powerful cost reduction system and will learn to apply new models to make the transition to a more effective and efficient management model necessary to support continuous cost improvement and target profit fullfillment.

Why is this training unique?

Successfully executing the cost improvement strategy has two basic rules: (1) applying the KAIZENshiro Budgeting cycle that links the cost improvement strategy to operations, and (2) applying specific concepts in each phase of the cycle.
